If you are new here, please refer to our website under About Us, Meet the Team, Programs, and Request a Meal. Important and comprehensive information can be found about our grassroots organization, how we mobilize individuals, businesses, organizations, agencies, and even foundations to activate in their civic engagement. The race to 180K starts here! When you sign up as a recurring donor, you are making your impact reach more food insecure people, including women, families, and children.

The Goal:

We are raising money to sustain our community meal and home delivery meal programs, develop the projects we piloted in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and grow our impact by reaching the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in the tri counties. If we meet our goal of $180,000, we can continue our work, retain and grow our staff, increase our production and build capacity for 2025.

Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas have a diverse group of residents and migrant workers. We see them yet our ability to help now is bound by our limited resources due to the global and nationwide state of grant-making and the systemic level of misappropriation of funds intended to help priority groups.

Who We Help:

Anyone in need, no cost no questions asked. Through the four and a half years since our founding, we have learned that the people in most need of our service identify with these groups: disability, LGBTQ2SIA+, BIPOC, low incoming working class, un/underemployed, fixed income elderly, caregivers, students, single parents, seasonal workers, houseless, at risk, immigrant, and refugees.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission - Overcoming barriers to food security by cooking and delivering cost-free meals to those in need, no questions asked.

Our vision is clear - Cultivating community, food partnerships, reducing waste, and creating a brighter future where nutrient-dense food is accessible by all.

Our Appeal

We are appealing to you for help in becoming an MCK Believer who not only believes in staff, volunteers, and community partners; we hope to meet individuals who believe in the power of their action and intention and the collective good that can be achieved.

In a nation that is rich in resources and wastes billions of poundage of food each year, nobody should have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Join us. Sign up as a recurring donor. No amount is too small.
