Make a contribution that will sustain our meal production and food rescue efforts.

Take action now! Our expenses average $15,000 each month to keep our zero-barrier meal programs accessible to those in need. Your donation gives us the best kind of financial support: unrestricted and for our general operations.

Join our Sustaining, Developing, and Growing campaign!

When you sign up as a recurring donor, you are making your impact reach more food insecure people, including women, the elderly, people with disabilities, families, and children.

The Goal:

We are raising money to sustain our family meal home-delivery and community partner meal programs to grow our impact by reaching the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in the tri-counties. Through funds raised, we can continue our work, retain and grow our staff, and keep feeding families in Portland one cooked meal at a time.

Who We Help:

Anyone in need, no cost no questions asked. Through the five years since our founding, we have learned that the people in most need of our service identify with these groups: disability, LGBTQ2SIA+, BIPOC, low incoming working class, un/underemployed, fixed income elderly, caregivers, students, single parents, seasonal workers, houseless, at risk, immigrant, and refugees. Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas have a diverse group of individuals and families. We see them, yet our ability to help now is bound by our limited resources due to the global and nationwide state of competitive funding landscape many small nonprofits face.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission - Overcoming barriers to food security by cooking and delivering cost-free meals to those in need, no questions asked.

Our vision - Cultivating community, food partnerships, reducing waste, and creating a brighter future where nutrient-dense food is accessible by all.

Our Appeal

We are appealing to you for help in becoming an MCK Believer who not only believes in the power of community care but believes in the power of your action and how your can help achieve the collective good.

In a nation that is rich in resources and wastes billions of poundage of food each year, there is enough food to go around. Nobody should have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Join us. Sign up as a recurring donor or consider increasing your gift amount. No amount is too small.

With gratitude,

Sherielyn Gardner, Co-Director
